Our beloved Pastor Elane O'Rourke and family are now following their calling in Tennessee. We welcome our visiting ministers and preachers during the holidays. We are currently interviewing for our new pastor and look forward to collaborating with them, learning from them, and continuing this church's work.

Debra Carpenter, Moderator
Debra Carpenter has been a member of this church since 2008 and is now serving as our Moderator -- the lead lay person in the church. Debra's primary duties since Pastor Elane's transition began are to ensure the happy, healthy spirit of our Christ-centered church stays in place along with our mission and values. Any questions, ideas or thoughts about our church, our interim hire or, later, permanent replacement hire, are welcome.

John Rogers, Facilities Manager
John Rogers joined the staff as Facilities Manager in June, 2006.
John’s money making job is as Facilities Manger here at Campbell UCC.
John oversees the property, renting the facility and working with all the different groups,
individuals and church members using the facilities.
John sees that the property is kept clean, orderly, and in good repair at all times, working with others to set up,
clean up, and put things together they might need.
John coordinates all the functions, activities and events that take place on the campus,
maintaining a list of the dates, times, and place of uses.
John’s ministry is as an Evangelist, being Blessed and Sent Forth in May of 2009. When John isn’t at the church doing his tent making job, he is assisting local churches and pastors with evangelism (outreach); helping church members share their faith with others. John takes seriously Jesus’ command to go into all the world making disciples of Christ. He is a Jesus’ Freak without being a "Religious Fanatic". We are truly blessed to have John use his gifts here at Campbell UCC.
Chrissy Hansen, Office Administrator
Chrissy Hansen joined the staff in August of 2011. She is the
Office Administrator and volunteers as the Youth Director. Her main
responsibilities are pastoral support as well as preparing slides &
bulletins for Worship.
Ruth Huber, Music Director
Ruth Huber was instrumental in founding both the Rainbow Women's Chorus (where she is co-Director and composer-in-residence) and Tapestry Singers (the Austin Women's Chorus). She holds three music degrees, including a Master of Music in Composition from the San Francisco Conservatory, and has studied conducting at San Jose State University. Her compositions and songs have won awards from the American Choral Directors Association, the San Francisco ArtSong Competition, and the Austin Music Umbrella Songwriters Competition, and she receives commissions from choral groups around the country. She has released three recordings, including her latest, "Spirit of Nurture," is available online. A certified member of Music Teachers National Association, she teaches piano, and served recently as musician for the Metropolitan Community Church. She resides in San Jose with her wife, Brenda Meng, and an assortment of adorable cats. We are very pleased to have Ruth become our Music Director in October, 2011.
Susan Hough, Cantor and Worship Leader
Susan Hough, a long-time choir member, has volunteered
to help plan our worship music and serve as worship leader/cantor for congregational singing.
Larry Ong, Bookkeeper
Larry Ong joined the staff as Bookeeper and Sunday-morning reception in August, 2006.
Ken True, Webminister
Ken
manages the campbellucc.org website as "webminister".
Ken enjoys singing Bass with the Choir and fiddling with PHP programming for this website and develops scripts for fellow weather-enthusiasts around the world.
