Pastor's Message
You are God’s beloved child, valuable just because God made
you and loves you. And if you don’t know any scriptures that
tell you that, here are a few:
- Romans 8:14-17: Those who are led by the Spirit of God
are sons and daughters of God. For you did not receive a spirit
that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit
of child relationship to God. God’s Spirit testifies with
our spirit that we are God's children.
- John 3:16: No one need be destroyed; by believing in
him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.
- Galatians 3:26: You are all sons of God through faith
in Christ Jesus.
- Ephesians 1:5: Long, long ago he decided to adopt us
into his family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure he took
in planning this!)
- John 1:12: To all who received him, to those who believed
in his name, he gave the right to become children of God —
born of God.
- Acts 10:28: God has shown me that I should not call any
man impure or unclean. (And, Peter might have added, not even
myself.)
- Genesis 1:26: Man and woman, in their own image they
created them.
- Psalm 139:13-14: For you created my inmost being; you
knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am
fearfully and wonderfully made; all your works are wonderful (even
me).
